The conditions of being organic includes that the land or animal of which the ingredients were sourced was not cultivated with pesticides, chemicals, hormones, antibiotics and other substances that are prohibited from growing or raising organic ingredients.

Since the process in producing organic skin care products take some substantial and careful processing, they may end up a bit expensive compared to non-organic products. But with the organic practices now being strongly encouraged in farming, prices of organic skin care products are expected to eventually go down.
